How many years have you played your instrument?
I can’t
believe it has been almost 44 years when people say I don’t look a
day over 29. Ha Ha
What’s your favorite song to play?
I get tears
in my eyes almost every time we play “Vows Go Unbroken”.
After 27 years, my husband Bob is still my biggest fan.
What’s your most memorable moment on stage?
The band members would probably say it was the Luersman wedding for
me - (but I don’t remember to much from that gig) so I would have to
say the 4th of July party at the J-BEDS Campground.
Let’s SOCIAL to that, and HANIE’S fries.
Who was your musical influence growing up?
Mostly my mom
because she let me play the accordion at age 5 and thought I was
talented way back then, but it was Urban Boecker and Steve Nemeth
that sat with me for hours and always believed in me.
If you could learn to play another instrument, what would it be?
The Saxophone sounds awesome, but God didn’t give me a big set of
lungs for that.
What is something people may not know about you?
Most people have no idea that
I am saving for a BABY GRAND PIANO.
Donations not needed. Just your help to carry it into my living
room. Bob won’t mind!
It is no “SECRET” that “ANOTHER ROUND” has been successful. If it
was up to “JUST-US” the “REFLECTIONS” of my music career started way
back in the WEHRI FAMILY BAND days. Thanks siblings for making 1972
the best beginning of a great future of musical memories. Also
thank you goes out to my 3 children who always admit ; THAT’S OUR
MOM!.
